Our  Founding

IKOMA SUSHI was founded by THINN THINN THEIN in 2009 while serving as a Chinese fast food vendor, MANDALAY EXPRESS at several University food courts since 2002.  It was started as a 'Grab and Go' sushi service in University of Utah.   

 

In 2010 COSTCO Wholesale had an agreement to retail IKOMA sushi products at 10 COSTCO locations across Salt Lake City, Utah. 

 

Within the same year IKOMA sushi had new locations in University of California, Davis,  University of Nevada, Reno and University of New Mexico.  

Vision and Mission

Ikoma Sushi is a trendy, quick service and delivery sushi concept that has become popular with a tasty, fresh and healthy dining experience with it's affordable prices.

We use best quality ingredients for the best health benefits for our customers.  Foods produced and served at Ikoma Sushi does not contain MSG and it was laboratory tested by our own audit, third party audit, COSTCO audit and FDA  regularly to ensure food safety, freshness and quality.
